Licenses
Every product on Studio 2am comes with a license that defines how it can be used, and who it covers. Below is a quick overview of each license type. For the full legal terms, follow the links at the end of each section.
Who a license is for
Every purchase declares who it's licensed to:
- Just me: the license covers one person.
- Small team (2-5 people): a company of two to five people, one flat price.
- Company or agency (6+ people): priced on company headcount. Get a self-serve quote at help.studio2am.co/enterprise.
Headcount
We price licenses by headcount: the total number of people at the company the license is for, not the number of people who use the files.
- Everyone counts: full-time, part-time, and ongoing contractors.
- Parent and subsidiary companies count toward the total.
- A supplier brought in for a one-off job counts only while they're engaged.
- Freelancing for yourself? That's Just me.
- Buying for a client? The license is the client's, so it's their headcount that counts, and your team is covered to do that client's work as the client's contractors.
- Delivering finished artwork only, where the client never uses the files themselves? Then the license is yours, and your own headcount applies.
Not sure which band you're in? Get your price at help.studio2am.co/enterprise. It takes about a minute.
