Free License Terms

These Free License Terms cover the free products made available on studio2am.co ("Free Files") — fonts, graphics, templates, and other digital assets downloaded at no charge. By downloading or using a Free File, you agree to these terms. Studio 2am PTY LTD ("Studio 2am") grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use Free Files as set out below.

Definitions

Company size — the total number of people working at the company this license is for: employees, plus contractors and regular freelancers doing ongoing work under the company's direction, counted across the company and its parent and subsidiary companies. It is not the number of people who install or work directly with the licensed files.

User — a person who installs the licensed files or works directly with them.

Contractor — a person engaged by a company who works under its direction on an ongoing basis. Contractors count toward that company's company size. A supplier engaged for a single, bounded deliverable does not.

Affiliate — a parent or subsidiary company of the Licensee, or a company under common ownership or control with the Licensee.

End client — the license belongs to the company that ends up using the licensed files as its own. Where a designer, studio, or agency purchases on behalf of a client, the client is the Licensee, and company size means the client's company size; the purchasing designer, studio, or agency and its people working on that client's work may install and use the licensed files to carry out the work as the Licensee's contractors, and do not count toward the Licensee's company size for that reason alone.

1. PERMITTED USE

You may use Free Files for personal and commercial projects, including client work, social media, marketing, websites, print, packaging, and end products for sale.

2. NOT PERMITTED

✗ Redistribution: You may not resell, share, sublicense, or distribute a Free File as a standalone file, nor make it publicly available for download — including in freebie bundles or on file-sharing sites. Link to the studio2am.co product page instead. Embedding a Free File in your own website or app is use, not redistribution, provided the file is reasonably protected against extraction and direct download as a standalone file.

✗ On-demand and editable use: A Free File may not be used in any template, platform, or design tool that allows end users to edit or generate their own content with it, such as print-on-demand stores, editable templates, or online design generators.

✗ Ownership claims: You may not claim a Free File, or a modification of it, as your own work, nor register, protect, or enforce any trademark or similar rights in the Free File itself.

✗ Unlawful content: A Free File may not be used in content that is pornographic, defamatory, harassing, offensive, promotes hate or violence, or is otherwise unlawful.

3. BRAND IDENTITIES

A Free File may be used in logo design, except to create the primary logo, wordmark, or brand identity of a company or organisation with a company size of six (6) or more (including its parent and subsidiary companies) — that use requires an Enterprise License Agreement, whether you are that company or a designer or agency acting on its behalf. 4. NO WARRANTY

Free Files are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studio 2am excludes all warranties, conditions, and guarantees — except any consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law — and accepts no liability for any loss arising from the use of Free Files.

5. TERMINATION AND GENERAL

Your rights under these terms end automatically if you breach them; on termination you must delete all copies of the Free File in your possession or control. Completed end products lawfully produced and distributed before termination are unaffected. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
