Can multiple people use the same license?

Yes, as long as everyone is covered by the license's Licensed-to declaration.

How the Licensed-to model works

Every purchase, both the Commercial License Agreement (Standard and Extended, for graphics, effects, mockups, textures, and templates) and the Desktop font license, declares who it's for at checkout:

• Just me: covers one person.
• Small team (2-5 people): covers everyone working at a company of two to five people, one flat price.
• Company or agency (6+ people): priced on company headcount. Get a self-serve quote at help.studio2am.co/enterprise.

If your company grows past the declared band, the license needs to move up a tier. The choice between Standard and Extended isn't about team size, it's about what you're using the asset for. See How do I choose the right license? for guidance on which tier fits your use case.

What counts toward headcount

Headcount is the total number of people at the company the license is for: full-time, part-time, and ongoing contractors. Parent and subsidiary companies count toward the total too. A supplier brought in for a single, bounded job counts only while they're engaged.

Contractors and freelancers

A contractor or freelancer working under your direction on an ongoing basis counts toward your headcount. Someone brought in for a single, bounded deliverable doesn't, and they can use the licensed files as your contractor for that job, as long as the files are deleted once the engagement ends.

Delivering work to a client

You don't need a bigger license just to hand files to a client. If the deliverable is a completed, non-editable end product, a finished website, outlined logo files, exported PDFs, flattened images, the client doesn't need their own license. They'd only need one if they want to actively install or edit the asset files themselves.

Buying on behalf of a client

If you're purchasing for a client's project, the license belongs to the client, so it's the client's headcount that counts, not yours. Your team is covered to do that client's work as the client's contractors.
