Can I use Studio 2am products for commercial projects?

LicensingUpdated November 5, 2026

Yes, all Studio 2am products can be used for commercial work. The license you choose at checkout determines the scope.

Graphics, effects, mockups, textures, and templates

Standard and Extended are two tiers of the same Commercial License Agreement, and both cover commercial use. The difference is in quantity limits and what types of commercial use are permitted.

Standard covers:

  • Client work and branding
  • Social media content and paid ads
  • Logos and print
  • Physical and digital products for sale (up to 10,000 units total)
  • Website use

Extended covers everything in Standard, plus:

  • App, desktop software, and video game use
  • Broadcast and streaming
  • Products for sale up to 250,000 units

Both tiers are licensed to Just me, a Small team (2-5 people), or a Company or agency (6+ people, priced on headcount). Declare who it's for at checkout.

For the full list of permitted and prohibited uses, see the Commercial License Agreement.

Fonts

Fonts use a different licensing system to other products on Studio 2am. There is no Standard or Extended tier for fonts.

For most commercial work, logos, branding, print, packaging, and client deliverables, you need a Desktop license. Like the Commercial License Agreement, it's licensed to Just me, a Small team (2-5 people), or a Company or agency (6+ people, priced on headcount).

For other uses, choose the license that matches how you will embed or publish the font:

  • Webfont, live, selectable text on a website you own
  • App, embedded in a mobile app, desktop software, or game
  • ePub, embedded in an ebook or digital publication

See Font Licenses Explained for the full breakdown.
