Graphics Help: Resolution question- resizing graphics and quality/ resolution?
Our graphics can come in many different file types, from PNG, JPG, EPS, SVG, etc. Our graphics collection features a diverse range of graphic design essentials, from graffiti symbols and 3D shapes to vintage collage elements and vector files.
The two main forms of graphics are:
-
Vector graphics (AI, EPS, SVG) allow unlimited resizing without losing quality.
-
Raster graphics (PNG, JPG, PSD) are limited by their original resolution, so resizing should be done carefully to maintain quality. For print, use high-resolution raster files (300 DPI), and for web, lower resolutions (72 DPI) are often sufficient.
