Why Is the Price Different at Checkout?
If the price at checkout looks higher than what you expected, it's usually due to a currency display difference or conversion rate.
What to Know
Our store's default currency is USD ($). However, you may see prices in your local currency while browsing, depending on your location or browser settings.
In some cases, this can cause confusion if:
-
The displayed price is in one currency (e.g. USD)
-
But the cart or checkout updates to another (e.g. AUD, EUR)
-
Or your payment provider applies its own exchange rate or fees
What You Can Do
-
Double-check which currency is currently being shown in the cart and at checkout.
-
If the total seems higher, it may be reflecting the converted price in your local currency rather than the original USD amount.
-
Keep in mind that banks and payment processors may also apply a conversion fee or use slightly different exchange rates.
Example
You may see a product listed as $20 (USD), but your total at checkout shows $32 — this could be due to:
-
The currency switching to your local currency (e.g. AUD or CAD)
-
A higher exchange rate
-
An added bank fee
